Trump’s role models are his father and Putin. Both models are psychopathic personalities without a social conscience. Trump and Putin are not joined at the hip but they are joined at the heart. That heart is the aspiration to be history’s most successful despot. Putin has been succeeding for years while Trump has only begun converting America’s democratic structures to facilitate this goal for him-self. The difference is that Putin is a suave master of political intrigue with a long history of graduating success while Trump is a bumbling and ignorant school-yard bully who is still testing how far he can go in violating the American constitution. Putin and his despotic co-hearts are milking Russia of its resources and filling their coffers with wealth. Trump is trying to do the same for himself but simply does not have the savvy to do so without being totally transparent. These differences in style hide the brutalities of Putin while revealing those of Trump.
Putin wishes to restore the Russian empire. One major obstacle to his success is the alliances of America and other nations which faces are such organizations as NATO, The European Union, and The United Nations. Trump has been Putin’s lap dog, doing all he can to undermine these alliances along with any other agreement that unites the global community in mutually beneficial purpose such as the Paris Climate Accord. Trump’s completion of his conversion of America’s democratic structure into despotic support would be a major nail in the coffin of all who oppose the re-establishment of a Russian totalitarian empire. What Putin has in his favor is that he reigns in a culture whose modern history is that of despotic inclination. What Trump has in his favor is reigning in a culture that fails to distinguish between the common good goals of democracy and the authoritarian goals of economic imperialism.
We already know enough about Trump’s support by Russian oligarchs and banks to confidently predict that we will eventually have all necessary proof that Russia did pave the way for Trump’s election to the presidency in two ways. One was through long-term devious financial aid of Trump’s enterprises that helped keep him in business and garnered his allegiance. The other was direct media chicanery during the last presidential election that aided his election and may have provided the slim margin of victory. Trump’s appreciation for Putin’s help and his own density of perception makes him the perfect lapdog for the superior despot. And that is why, at every possible opportunity, doggie Trump licks Putin’s hand in heart-felt fashion.
Don’t expect there to be any change in this relationship, other than a greater bow-wow, if Trump is re-elected. America will simply become what Putin has wet dreams about – Russia’s vassal colony.
President Trump and economic imperialism are so imperative to the success of despotic rule in America that they must be protected by a bodyguard of lies.

In the case if these two I suggest that the word heart be replaced by solar plexus. Thanks, Robert, for keeping me grounded. Mostly. I am mentally packing my bags for Venus.
