WAS TRUMP IMPRESSED?
Hundreds of thousands showed up in support of the nation’s youth March for Our Lives on March 24th. These youth spoke with the courage of conviction. They spoke with the clarity of purpose. They spoke with the vision of an America where youth could go to school without fear of being gunned down by some person with a god-like mentality. They also envisioned an America where in several years these very youth would be determining elections with their vote. They appealed to presidential and congressional leadership to heed their voice and support laws that would minimize the availability of assault weapons.
Was President Trump impressed? If so, where was his nationally expressed and admiring support? All of Trump’s words and actions up to this point indicate that he could care less about the issues of liberalized youth – except as a political ploy. In fact, his words and deeds indicate that he could care less about the issues of democracy. Trump is a despot who cares only for submissive and loyal obedience to his undisputable truth and absolute rule.
It is also doubtful that most faithful republican congress people were impressed. They and Trump generally see eye to eye. In fact many are the avowed supporters of doing away with all laws that might inhibit the profit making of gun manufactures and their lobbyists. They are economic imperialists for whom profit is the goal of cultural living. Almost all their votes indicate their opposition to the primal democratic necessities of devotion to the citizenry equality, its common good, and its right to vote.
These youth should be congratulated and admired for their deep concerns, articulation, and devotion to what is primal to democracy – the will to speak their mind in a courageous and reasonable manner.
They can be America’s future White House and congress. And that is the key. This march will justifiably raise national consciousness about democratic necessity. But only the vote of these youth will change America into their vision.

He has NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder), and, as such, he does not care. These youth, soon to be voting young adults, care passionately and, I believe, will be key to changing this country.
